Expansion of UK Registered Traveller Service welcomed by UKinbound
The scheme which allows faster entry to the UK will be open to frequent travellers to the UK from 16 new countries as of this week.
The expansion includes important inbound markets in South America and the Far East where tourism to the UK has grown vastly in recent years.
Deirdre Wells OBE, CEO of UKinbound, says the company is delighted with the extension of the Registered Traveller scheme and commented that the announcement sends “a clear signal that the UK is open for business and continues to be an outward-facing and welcoming destination in a post-Brexit world.”
Membership is now open to travellers from Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Brunei, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay and Uruguay.
